wow. okay. i finished. i'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. it looks maybe 75% as good as i imagined it in my head, which to me feels like a pretty big accomplishment!
some notes for next time:
- line consistency. i never had a set zoom percentage or brush size. ever. and it shows.
- character consistency. i'm pretty sure the characters have like eight different facial structures throughout the film.
- frame rate consistency! i flip flopped throughout the year trying to determine if i wanted to shoot in 24 or 30. i ended up with 24 but some scenes just looked better in 30 so they stayed that way. i hope it won't mess with anyone's brains.
just general consistency i suppose.
i have the film all handed in and finished but won't be uploading it anywhere until after the dustys (may 7th). i have a ton of free time now so i'll be helping people who want to resubmit their films before the screening. i'll also start poking around for jobs. and living space. oh boy!
