you know that scene in pee wee's big adventure where pee wee comes across a pet shop on fire? first he goes in and saves the cute little monkey, then the cute little fluffy puppies, then the birds and the mice and rats and even the fish. all the while, the snakes are sitting in their tank waiting to be saved. pee wee wants none of it.
this is essentially me and thesis. i saved (finished) all the cute fluffy animals (scenes) and now all i have left are the snakes (bitch scenes). on one hand, i've done enough practice that tackling the hard scenes aren't as daunting as they were three months ago. on the other hand thesis is due in less than a week and i still have a few big ol' gaps in the film.
the only way to get through this is to hold my nose, swallow my pride, and dive in head first. i can emerge from the flames near death and screaming, but you can bet your butt i'll have those snakes in hand.

ugh! i hated that! i actually finished animating midweek, and all i had left to do were the bitch scenes. should've spread it out more :T
