also, i have a new idea for this semester's project. it'll be a watch commercial. i already have the stock music picked out, and it won't need any dialogue. i think the other idea was too busy and hard to make funny in such a short amount of time.
i've also been doing a lot of work on my upcoming thesis film. i want to have all the preliminaries planned out before this fall. that means:
now and summer 2008: get down specific frame durations for scenes and animation (scenes are done, animation is a bit trickier) and storyboard
fall 2008: animate the shit out of my thesis; probably start over the summer if all goes as planned
spring 2009: color and composite the shit out of my thesis (honestly i'll probably have a lot of animation left)
summer 2009: get hired by every place everywhere and make a zillion $$$
it's definitely going to be an exciting, agonizing, make or break year.
