home stretch

now this is how i feel about thesis:

just kidding kind of! i really think i'm going to finish! and as for the future me who will look back on thesis year and think 'hm well it wasn't actually that bad and i kind of miss it' - screw you! this is tough!

also this is the last thing i will post about thesis until the final product. sooo look forward to my film! hooray!

let's not talk about thesis for a second. instead, here are some of the door tags i made this past fall semester. i did a simpsons theme.

half of them ended up being stolen which is why i was a lot less ambitious for the current spring semester, but they were really fun to make. i saved the templates because who knows when you're gonna need a mr. sparkle name tag to brighten someone's day? i know. every day.

please don't sue me.

because i finished* the first ~2 minutes of my film!

*probably about 90% really. i have a few things left to do and there's always room for tweaking, but if i were forced to hand it in today i would probably surrender. 

i split my film into three parts and i'm in the middle of tackling #2 - the shortest and most complicated one. i'll be generous and give myself until the end of the month to finish it, and then use up whatever's left of april to finish part #3. 

work has basically been like a slow-moving train. it's ridiculous how much i've gotten done in the past few days compared to how much i've normally done in two weeks. of course it is spring break so i have no other commitments bogging me down, but the more work i get done now, the better. oy.
